AND WE ARE BACK! It has been a crazy long week reflecting back! FILLED WITH #STRESS!!!!! Painting really took my mind off the fact I'm sleep deprived and stressed but ya know just as much as any other high school student!
I have painted A lot to create a feel for the artwork and I have experimented with landscapes and single objects like a flower and an apple! I have also created a chart of different techniques to show you what I can really do! The supplies I gathered over a few days and these included straws, salt, rubbing alcohol, sponges, shaving cream, rubber cement, a pin, a leaf or stamp, and a tooth brush! I also found an amazing YouTube account with tutorials and subscribed! I also tried my first.... drum roll please.... #landscapeee!
 Here is my technique board!
Some struggles I had included not being able to control my drip, water usage, and balence. The bigger struggle was controlling my water as you can see on my wetg on wet! I also have to wait a tad longer before taking off my tape #oops!!! I have to figure out when to use less and when less is more with the water!

I also tried my first landscape today :/ It's really simple and not AMAZBALLS but its good enough! I tried to control my water better and I will continue to work on this but here is my first #not #so #good landscape.

#this #computer #resolution #is #bad!!!! You can't see my background but if you would like to see the authentic painting its in my background! I worked on my water control and took on the easiest task.... TREES:)))))

The following week I plan to start diving into different styles and paintings and trying to focus on landscapes and maybe even try a canvas!

A Youtube Account called Mr.Otter Art Studio is a helpful tutorial that guided me with my techniques. Here is a link to the technique squares I completed!

Mr.Otter is a Mrs and she is an experienced artist I love to watch and may use her videos to help guide me from now on. I will create a timeline of different types of paintings I would like to try from now on! Also, I will complete many paintings as a technique of stress relief throughout the week! #finally #pursuing #my #dream

That's All For Now,
Thanks Guys

  1. The technique board is soo cool woahhh!! Next week are you going to incorporate more of the methods on the board into your painting? My favorites are the pulled out clouds and the salt. Everything looks great!!
